The CUBE Halo38 chain guard is compatible with these CUBE bikes:
- Cube Touring Hybrid: model year 2021 – 2022
- Cube Kathmandu Hybrid: model year 2020 - 2021 – 2022
How to mount the Halo38
The new Halo38 is mounted with a single screw to the frame where the “old” version used 3 screws. The bracket mount needs to be in the lowest position.
You don’t need to remove the cranks to mount the new Halo38 bracket mount. Make sure that the baseplate is on the lowest position and use the middle attachment to mount the bracket mount.
In total the Halo38 will be mounted on two positions on the bike. This will be more then enough to prevent the Halo38 from moving or flexing.
