The Kathmandu Hybrid EXC 800 is designed to take you any Where. We started with a frame featuring our renowned Efficient Comfort Geometry, developed around a suspension fork with 100 millimeters of comfortable travel. Inside the frame, you'll find the new, lighter Bosch CX motor with 85 newton meters of torque and a PowerTube battery with a generous 800 Wh capacity. There’s also a beautiful and sturdy integrated IC 3.0 luggage rack. For its wide range and reliable performance, we chose Shimano's famous 12-speed XT transmission. The hydraulic disc brakes also carry the XT label, ensuring you can always and safely slow down, no matter the conditions. The bike is further equipped with a high-quality suspension fork from Fox – the 34 AWL Sport. And that’s not all; it also features an adjustable stem, a suspension seat post, and a complete set of accessories to finish it off.

From July 2025, CUBE bikes with the Bosch CX motor (BDU384Y) will get a significant performance boost. The upgrade can be easily installed by yourself via the Bosch eBike Flow App. No further actions are required.

With the eBike Flow App, you can increase the specifications of the Bosch motor to:
